We are both rising high school seniors. Born and raised in Newton, we have loved this city for as long as we can remember. However, it is due to that love that we have griped about its politics. The unreliable public transport, the lack of affordability (a true concern for those who wish to eventually build families here), the truly endless lawn signs, we talked about it all. One day we had an idea: make a website criticizing the city in hopes of reform. It might seem silly, but we realized what we wanted to wake up young liberal residents to some of Newton’s problems, not reform a specific policy. We hope readers who agree with our opinions vote for more progressive candidates and advocate for the issues we lay out.
